Welcome to St. Aloysius School

A letter from our principal, Danielle Hruby.

Danielle Hruby, principal of St. Aloysius School

Whether you are a longtime member of our school family or are just discovering us for the first time, I am so glad you are here. St. Aloysius has been my home for most of my life — first as a student, then as a teacher, and now as principal — and I can say with complete confidence that this is a community like no other. Ours is a school where families show up for one another and for our students in ways that make this place truly special, and I am honored to welcome you into it.

A Community United

As principal, I have the privilege of collaborating with our incredible teachers as they nurture the academic and spiritual growth of your children, walking alongside parents as they navigate raising kids in today's world, and connecting with our wider community to share Christ's message and the Catholic virtues we hold dear. Every day, I am reminded that we are all part of the Body of Christ, each playing our own role in sharing His message — and there is nothing I find more meaningful than doing that work alongside this community.

Why Catholic Education

At St. Aloysius, God is at the center of everything we do. Our students learn that He has a place in their accomplishments, their struggles, and their everyday decisions. Learning here is a joyful experience, because our students do it all alongside their best friend, Jesus. Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention, and our strong curriculum ensures our students are challenged academically. Just as important, our school places a deep emphasis on community and character, helping our students grow in virtue through service and giving.

God is present in every part of our students' lives — in a quiet prayer before a big test, in a small act of kindness on the playground, and yes, even in the complexity of algebraic reasoning. It is a joy to walk alongside our students as they come to know God's immense love and discover their own personal relationship with Him.

What Our Students Need to Succeed

Above all, our students need a community that works together for their good. As principal, my role is to support our teachers — the ones who spend countless hours each day meeting our students with enthusiasm, building them up according to their unique needs, and guiding them with both gentleness and high expectations. And none of this works without our families. Parents play the most important role in a child's life, and it is essential that home and school listen to one another, growing together to help each child reach their full potential.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve this community I love. Please know my door is always open, and I look forward to welcoming you and your family to St. Aloysius School.

With gratitude and in Christ,
Danielle Hruby
